We are proud to introduce our brand new Classic Kitchen Maid® clothes airer. Based on an original Victorian pattern we discovered in a dusty corner of our foundry, the Classic has been beautifully made-over by our in house designer, Robin Lumley, who has lovingly crafted a delicate fusion of period and modern to produce our most exclusive airer ever. You can only buy the Classic from Cast in Style as we will not be releasing this to anybody else.
Our unusually solid cast iron and pine classic kitchen maid® clothes airers will provide stout service for many generations. Hoisted up to the ceiling, the warm air will dry up to 30kg of washing overnight. One of the most economical and ecological ways to dry your clothing. All the cast iron parts of the airer including the airer ends, pulleys and cleat are coated in a tough power coating of your chosen colour to make them last a lifetime.
 Our wooden slats are professionally finished and smoothed over so as not to snag on your washing. The pine wooden slats are of the highest quality and we only use wood from renewable sustainable sources. This means that for every tree that is cut down to make your airer at least 1 new one is grown to replace it, keeping the forests alive. "the most energy efficent way to dry your laundry indoors"
Our airers are designed to be environmentally friendly by helping to reduce the electricity normally consumed in a conventional clothes dryer, and with our sustainable wooden slats it provides a truly ecological alternative.
